哥倫比亞很大，各個地區除了地理上的不同，文化上的差異也很大。各地吃的食物不同，講話的口音和用字有差別，甚至人民的流行時尚打扮也不盡相同。
哥倫比亞的西北方連接著巴拿馬，長長的海岸線被分為兩部分：加勒比海岸和太平洋岸 。
加勒比海岸很受人歡迎，不僅有蔚藍的海水，還有豐富多彩的文化和熱情的人們，是年輕遊客的最愛。太平洋岸則是沒沒無聞，比較少人會去。
與朋友們去太平洋岸看鯨魚時（點此看看我的賞鯨之旅），我才認識了這個地區。
太平洋岸沒有濃厚的西班牙殖民味道，沒有緊張的生活節奏，這裡的人民也不是那種一般哥倫比亞帥哥美女的長相，感覺像是來到了另一個國家。
・ 人種
太平洋岸的居民種族和黑奴貿易的歷史有著很大的關係。
當時運送黑奴的船來到加勒比海岸把人放下，這些黑人就在沿海地區定居下來，因為氣候的關係，他們沒有往全是高山的內陸遷移，反而往西邊的太平洋岸去。所以，現在，哥倫比亞的沿海地區住的全部是黑人。
然而，這裡的黑人又和非洲的黑人不太一樣，他們雖然皮膚黝黑，像沒有混血過的非洲黑人，但卻有著淡色的眼珠，淡淡的琥珀色，很特別也很漂亮。
太平洋沿岸的居民普遍有著一種特質，他們很冷靜、放鬆（chill），好像與世無爭，特別容易相處，讓人感到很舒服。

・ 飲食
因為靠海，太平洋岸的人吃很多魚，其他的海鮮倒是比較少。常見的食物還有大蕉（plátano）、椰子這些熱帶植物。
不常吃油炸食物的我卻很喜歡patacon，那是大蕉（plátano）壓扁之後炸成的餅，沿海地區的人做的patacon最好吃了。
不知道是方便還是不懂得料理，他們主要的烹飪方式只有油炸，炸魚、炸馬鈴薯、炸玉米餅（arepa）⋯⋯調味上比較有特色，他們常在食物中加入椰肉或椰奶，別有一番風味。
讓我感到不習慣的是，他們都不吃蔬菜。我們在這裡吃了好幾餐，只看過一次生菜葉子，而且還是在盤子上當裝飾用的。
可能因為他們吃太多炸的食物和澱粉類，所以這裡的人身材都不太好，胖胖的、肚子很大，或許和他們的審美觀也有關係。

・音樂
哥倫比亞令人熟悉的音樂類型是騷莎、bachata、雷鬼動（reggaeton），然而，太平洋岸有自己獨特的音樂風格。
也許是他們演奏的樂器，也許是他們放鬆的生活態度，使得太平洋岸的音樂非常特別，感覺像是結合了哥倫比亞和非洲的文化，又加入了海洋的風情。
每年的八月中，在卡利有非常有名的“Petronio”，也就是太平洋岸的音樂節。
太平洋岸音樂節 Petronio
其中一個讓我留在卡利的原因，就是為了去朋友們強力推薦的「Petronio 太平洋岸音樂節」。
這個為期一個禮拜的音樂節是卡利每年最盛大的節慶，主題環繞著太平洋岸的文化。除了每天晚上有不同樂團的演出之外，從早到晚都有許多攤位，賣太平洋岸的食物、衣服、飾品、樂器 ……
即使只需二個小時的車程就能到太平洋岸的大城Buenaventura，但在Petronio音樂節裡吃到的食物、聽到的音樂、看到的舞蹈都是平常在卡利不會出現的。
音樂節充分展現了哥倫比亞太平洋岸獨特的文化，大概就是如此才非常吸引人吧。

－ 樂器
太平洋岸的音樂中最重要的樂器就是「竹琴」，像是用竹子做的木琴。它的聲音比木琴更柔和，有讓人放鬆、在夢裡的感覺。另外，沙鈴和鼓也都是主要的樂器。
音樂節裡有好多攤子在賣樂器，我看了好想買，但是實在不方便帶著旅行。

－ 飾品和頭巾
太平洋岸最常見的特色飾品是珠串的項鍊，這是他們特有的技術，全部都是手工做的，聽說很不容易，要花很多時間才能完成一條項鍊。
這些珠串飾品的用色鮮明、配色大膽、款式誇張，也許是因為他們的皮膚顏色深，特別懂得用這些顯眼的飾品來表現自己。

另外一個太平洋岸的招牌特色是頭巾。由於黑人的頭髮又卷又乾，很難處理，除了綁成辮子之外，他們也喜歡綁著頭巾。
這些頭巾一定都是五顏六色的，就和他們喜歡用亮眼的飾品來襯托自己的黑皮膚是一樣的道理。頭巾本身很花俏就算了，他們還有各種誇張的綁法，弄得像是頭上頂了一朵大花似的。
我想，他們的時尚哲學應該就是：最好讓全世界的人都一眼就看到我。

－ 美食、美酒
來到Petronio一定要吃吃太平洋岸的食物，像是各種魚的料理、超好吃的蝦子口味的empanada（類似小餡餅），還有chontaduro（桃椰子）之類的水果。
另外，必須嘗試太平洋岸的酒精飲料“viche”，那是用椰子釀成的烈酒。Viche喝起來並沒有椰子的味道，他們通常會加入其他東西，做成不同口味的，肉桂的、花生的⋯⋯
最特別的是他們把酒作成creamy的口感，我好喜歡，喝起來像在吃什麼乳製的甜食，又濃又香。只是要小心，viche很烈，容易醉。

我喜歡太平洋岸的文化，喜歡他們的與眾不同，我真的體驗到了完全不一樣的哥倫比亞。同時，我也覺得哥倫比亞更迷人了，一個國家能這麼多樣化，有這麼多值得我去探索的地方。
