阿雷基帕（Arequipa）除了美麗的城市之外，附近也有許多自然景觀值得一去，包括國家公園、無數的火山，還有最有名的 科爾卡峽谷 （Colca Canyon）。
科卡爾峽谷深度有三千多公尺，是美國大峽谷的兩倍。這裡有許多高山健行路線，大部分都很具挑戰性，因此備受登山客的喜愛。不登山的人可以欣賞風景，也可以看到野生的安地斯神鷹（condor）。
＊安地斯神鷹是南美洲特有的一種鷲，展開的雙翼有3公尺寬，是最大的飛行鳥類之一。在原住民的文化和國家象徵中都佔有重要的地位，經過政府積極的保護，神鷹的數量慢慢上升，主要分佈在安地斯山脈，生活在高海拔且空曠的山區。
我和媽媽選擇了二天一夜的國家公園與峽谷tour，是沒有健行的輕鬆行程。
第一天，在附近的Salinas y Aguada Blanca國家公園。
首先去到了就在阿雷基帕市旁的國家公園，一台小巴十五個人，其他人的門票都是30soles，只有我們倆非秘魯公民是70soles，相比之下，真的覺得被坑了，只能感謝秘魯政府看得起我們的經濟能力了！
・國家公園
國家公園裡，海拔比較高，一下子變得好冷，空氣稀薄，不過很乾淨。
這裡到處是四、五千公尺以上的高山，覆蓋著少許草本植物和雪，空曠曠的，沒有樹林，和台灣的山區景觀很不同，四周環繞著八座火山，山頂上都覆蓋著白雪，看起來很美。

・放牧羊駝和野生羊駝
路上，我們碰到了一群羊駝，是牧人放養的，可以摸、可以拍照，大概是刻意放在這裡給遊客看的，因為如果沒有看到羊駝就不像來到南美洲了。
我們也有看到野生的vicuña（點此認識這種羊駝），通常牠們都是一家子五、六隻遠遠的在吃草。有一次，車子開在路上，竟然就有幾隻vicuña在我們旁邊跑，之後還從前面快速的過馬路。來到南美八個月了，這還真的是我第一次看到這種羊駝，之前只知道vicuña就是代表最貴的毛衣而已。

・山中小鎮Chivay
下午就抵達了今晚住宿的小鎮Chivay，這裡完全沒有因為有遊客就變得熱鬧，仍然是很平凡、很樸素。熱愛市場的我們去了當地街上的小市集，買了小農的咖啡和巧克力，品質意外的好。
晚餐在有歌舞表演的餐廳裡，有傳統樂器演奏的歌曲配上穿著當地服飾的舞者，跳的舞和大部分的民族舞蹈一樣都是和生活相關，像是男女之間的愛情、務農的辛苦、節日的慶祝，不是什麼技巧高的舞步，但是很有特色，服裝也挺有趣的。

▼ 雖然因為淡季，餐廳裡沒有幾桌客人，但表演的舞者和樂隊還是賣力演出，並帶著大家一起跳舞。
第二天，我們前往此次行程的目的地：科爾卡峽谷。
・山中的小村子
途中，經過了幾個村子，雖然小，但生活條件和基礎建設看起來都不差，也都有不少西班牙殖民的痕跡，像是廣場、教堂等建築。
小村子的居民很聰明，想出各種方法來賺遊客的錢，有人擺攤賣紀念品、賣自己手織的衣物，也有人帶著自己家的羊駝出來，讓遊客拍照，一次一塊錢，廣場上，還有幾個女孩在表演跳舞，他們也讓小村子變得更有生色了。

・科爾卡峽谷 和安地斯神鷹
我們接著到了峽谷的安地斯神鷹景觀台，大家都站在那兒，眼巴巴的等著神鷹從峭壁上的槽飛出來，半個小時一隻也沒看到。
有點可惜的是雲霧太多了，看不出峽谷的險峻，即便是全世界第二深也看不出來，不過雲霧帶來另一種美，山壁上長滿綠色的植物，生意盎然的，和美國大峽谷的感覺差很多。
感謝上帝沒有讓我們失望，我們在另一個觀景點要上車時，有一隻神鷹從旁邊的山頂上出現了，一位好心的大叔借了我們望遠鏡，巨大的神鷹因著遙遠的距離看起來就和普通的小麻雀一樣，唯一能確定的是，牠是用滑翔的方式在山頂盤旋，不過總算是看到了。

滿是火山和羊駝的國家公園、又綠又深的科爾卡峽谷，雖然這次沒有走有名的峽谷健行路線，但也有些新的體驗，像是看到野生的羊駝和安地斯神鷹，還有冒煙的火山，也認識了這裡山地居民不同的文化，下次來再去挑戰爬峽谷吧！
