哥倫比亞的國土很大，各個地區除了地理上的不同，文化的差異也很大。這次來到了太平洋岸，體驗到完全不一樣的哥倫比亞。
每年的七月到十一月，鯨魚會從南邊游到溫暖的熱帶海域，也就是哥倫比亞的太平洋岸一帶，在這裡交配、生小孩，這段時間就是賞鯨的季節。
我在卡利時正值七月，幾個朋友們約了要一起去太平洋岸看鯨魚，來個三天的小旅行。對於一點沒做功課且不會西班牙文的我真是太方便了，跟著這群什麼都知道又很會殺價的朋友絕對沒問題。
－ 色彩繽紛的海灘小村Juanchaco
卡利其實離海邊不遠，只要兩個半小時的車程。我們先搭了巴士到太平洋岸最大的城市——Buenaventura，然後，從那裡坐了一個多小時的船到Juanchaco這個海邊的村莊。
Juanchaco是賞鯨船的出發點，村子裡的人大部分都是靠著遊客維生的，經營旅館、開雜貨店、賣小吃、開船載人去賞鯨。
小村莊的生活環境不太好，這裡沒有鋪路，就是沙子地，一下雨，路上就都是水攤，一棟棟的木頭、鐵皮房子非常的簡陋，然而，每棟房子不是漆的五顏六色就是畫有特別的圖案，活潑可愛完全蓋過了簡陋的感覺，也充分展現了他們色彩繽紛的文化。

－ 出海賞鯨
因為每年大批鯨魚的到來，這裡的居民主動把這片海域設為保護區。雖然有不少遊客去賞鯨，但是管制得很嚴格，出發前都要先上保護鯨魚的教育課。負責人和我們解釋關於這個保護區的成立、鯨魚的種類和牠們的遷徙過程，還有如何保護鯨魚，譬如說船隻要離鯨魚至少200公尺遠。
我們坐小船出到了外海，看到第一隻鯨魚的時候，大家都非常興奮，之後就開始集中注意力，目不轉睛地盯著前方的海面。除了開船的人之外，還有一個人坐在船頭，負責找鯨魚，如果有看到鯨魚的身影，他就會告訴大家。
事實上，並不像照片中那麼壯觀，有整隻鯨魚跳出水面，我們只看到鯨魚的背游出水面，有點像海豚，不過因為鯨魚很大隻，所以整個背出水的時間比較長，但大概也就是四秒鐘。
我們在海中待了半個小時以上，看到了五隻鯨魚，雖然沒有想像那麼精彩，但是，這是可遇不可求，我已經滿足了。比較糟糕的是，我沒有塗防曬油，雖然天氣有點陰，但我還是曬傷了，而且還挺嚴重的。

－ 海灘邊的小小村子La Barra
看完鯨魚後，船把我們載到了另一邊的La Barra，這是一個比Juanchaco還小的小小村莊。
這裡沒有碼頭，船就在淺水的地方停了下來，我們背著行李、踩著海浪走進去。上了沙灘，我們繼續向內陸走了一段，幾乎沒看到什麼房子，詢問過後，我們才找到了朋友推薦的小旅舍。
・小旅舍
小旅舍是簡陋的木頭屋加鐵皮屋頂，裡面有好幾間房，二樓還有一個空間專門給我們這種不喜歡花錢的背包客，可以掛吊床和搭帳篷，一晚只要20000披索（約20塊台幣）。一樓的棚子下是吃飯的地方，因為這個小村基本上沒有餐廳，所以住客的三餐都是由小旅舍包下。這裡的老闆是個非常能幹的女人，而且十分親切友善，讓我們都想多住幾天了。

▼ 老闆的小孩才七歲就會幫很多忙，一邊顧著粉紅籃子裡幾個月大的妹妹，一邊削椰子肉。
▼ 小旅舍前面因為下雨成了一個大水塘，小孩們拿著塑膠桶就玩起來了。我們離開前給這兩個小男生巧克力，他們簡直開心到不行了。

・小村子
La Barra真的是太小了，這裡什麼都沒有。
我們在樹林野地之間穿梭，看到了一些住家，也是非常簡陋的房子，看到了另一個可以搭帳篷的營地，看到了一個自己砍椰子、做椰子油的老伯。村子裡是有一條主要的路，兩旁有比較密集的房子，除了兩個賣水果的小攤子之外，就也沒有別的了。

一來到這個小村，我就開始好奇，村子裡有不少小孩，他們都去哪裡上學呢？
後來我們往樹林裡走了一段路，看到一間小屋，外面畫有藍色小精靈，我們透過木條的空隙看了裡面的擺設和裝飾，發現這應該就是學校了。

－ 美麗的意外
第三天離開的時候，我們錯過了一天一班回Juanchaco的船，我們從Juanchaco回Buenaventura的票已經買好了，而且有三個人必須要在隔天之前回到卡利，不可能在這裡多待一個晚上。我們沒有別的選擇，只能由陸路走回去。
因為前一天晚上下了場大雨，本來就只是土地的路變得超級泥濘，一踩下去就會陷得很深，我們都光著腳、拎著鞋走。
背著行李走了一個多小時後，經過了一個小村子，看起來是有人會來度假的地方，好多游泳池旅館，都累了的我們決定在眼前唯一一個小吃攤坐坐，休息一下。這個小吃攤竟有著我們吃過最好吃的蝦子empanada和椰子冰棒，讓我們很意外也很高興。補充體力後，才再次上路。
最後，成功的走到了Juanchaco，也趕上了回Buenaventura的船。我們走完這段路花了兩個多小時，滿身大汗的，而且腳和小腿上都是泥巴，但這卻是我這段旅行當中印象最深也是最好的回憶。
