普珥節 （Purim）或著普珥日是猶太人的一個節日，由於是用猶太曆來算的，每年的陽曆日期不同，通常是在二月底到三月中之間。
普珥節是紀念猶太民族被拯救的日子，並不是神聖的節期，所以沒有繁瑣的儀式和傳統，就是一個單純充滿歡樂的節日。雖然沒有放假，但是我自己是很喜歡普珥節的。
◇ 普珥節 的由來
普珥節的來歷記載在舊約聖經的《以斯帖記》中，這個故事像電影一樣精彩，情節多變、轉折很大。整個故事很長，這裡只簡單講重點。
西元前四百多年，猶太人在波斯帝國的統治之下。國王亞哈隨魯看中了一位猶太女子以斯帖，立她為新的王后，但是，沒有人知道以斯帖是猶太人。
哈曼是亞哈隨魯王的大臣，他想要殺死全國的猶太人，得到了國王的同意後，哈曼選定了十二月，也就是猶太曆中的亞達月（Adar），要將猶太人趕盡殺絕。以斯帖聽說了這件事，冒著生命危險去拯救自己的人民。
以斯帖為國王和哈曼舉辦了宴席，在宴席上，她向國王告發了哈曼對猶太民族的滅絕計畫，也才揭露了自己的猶太身份。亞哈隨魯王知道後，下令把哈曼殺了，並廢除了他的旨意。
情勢一百八十度大扭轉，猶太人脫離了殺戮的災難，得以存活下來。亞達月十四、十五日是轉憂為喜的日子，因此，猶太人在這兩天舉辦酒席歡慶，並定為普珥節。
◇ 普珥節 的儀式
普珥節不是猶太教中神聖的日子，相較之下，宗教上的含義比較少，不是注重在猶太人與上帝之間的關係，反而對於民族的意義更大。也因此，普珥節並沒有太多必須要做的儀式和要守的規定。
一、朗讀《以斯帖記》
只要是具有歷史背景的節日，猶太人都會有講述歷史的儀式，重新複習一次祖先們的故事，讓後代不會忘記自己民族曾經歷的事。
普珥節時，大家會去猶太會堂，聽人朗讀《以斯帖記》。而那些不去猶太會堂的人，在自己家中也會講以斯帖的故事，讓孩子們知道當時猶太民族是如何被拯救，並了解普珥節的意義。
＊ Ra’ashan
由於哈曼是個壞人，朗讀《以斯帖記》時，每當出現他的名字，聽眾就要一起發出噪音，蓋過朗讀者的聲音，大家才不會聽到「哈曼」這個字，其實就是自己消音的意思。
取決於每個地區的猶太人的習慣，製造消音效果有幾種不同的方式，其中，用ra’ashan不算是那麼常見，但是它卻變成了普珥節的一個代表。
Ra’ashan（也叫grogger）是一種L型的手拿玩具，通常是木製的。當用手一圈圈甩動的時候，中間的棘輪會被敲的發出喀喀的聲響。
普珥節前夕，商店裡都會賣ra’ashan，而且有很多不同的款式、造型。Ra’ashan是小朋友在普珥節時必備的玩具，人手一支。

二、送食物給親朋好友
普珥節時，家人、朋友之間會互相贈送禮物，但是僅限於食物，而且是直接就可以吃的。通常，人們會打包一個禮物籃子，裡面有糖果餅乾、各種零食，有些會放水果、酒等等，總之，是一大籃的可口的食物。
三、宴會大餐
普珥節當天要宴會，好好的大吃一餐，還要喝葡萄酒。大多數的人好像比較不重視吃的部分，但是，不論如何，一定會舉辦盛大的派對。
普珥節派對的重要程度難以想像，不僅以色列各地有各種形式、風格的普珥節派對，連遠在南美洲的秘魯也有喔！
我在秘魯的庫斯科打工換宿時，剛好遇到了普珥節。照理來說，秘魯不是猶太教的國家，當然是不慶祝普珥節的，但是，因為庫斯科有非常多以色列來的遊客，他們自己辦了超大的普珥節派對。真的是，連在國外旅行也不放過慶祝普珥節的機會。
◇ 普珥節 的裝扮
現在，普珥節讓大家最熟悉的慶祝方式是要裝扮（dress up in costume），像萬聖節一樣，不過，不需要扮的鬼怪嚇人，就是自己喜歡打扮成什麼就穿什麼衣服。
普珥節當天，小孩會穿著裝扮的服裝去上學，在街上也會看到打扮奇特的人。除了有名的角色、人物這種老套的裝扮之外，身為一個非常有創意的民族，以色列人總是會做出一些很有趣的新花樣。

◇ 普珥節 的食物
普珥節雖然要吃大餐，但是並沒有特別指定的食物。唯一具代表性的節日食物，是叫做“hamantash”的甜食小點心。
Hamantash的意思是「哈曼的口袋」，在希伯來文中，也叫做「哈曼的耳朵（oznei Haman）」。這是一種餅乾、甜餅之類的食物，介於一般的餅乾和夾心餅之間，因為它裡面有餡料，但是並沒有全部包起來，更奇特的是，hamantash必須要做成三角形。
「哈曼的耳朵」的外皮有點像是奶油餅乾（shortbread），裡面包的甜餡料有很多種，最傳統的是罌粟籽， 椰棗泥、李子果醬、草莓果醬、杏桃果醬也都是現在常見的，甚至還有巧克力、起司等創新的口味。

我吃過幾個「哈曼的耳朵」，嚐了不同的口味，我自己覺得比較好吃的大概就是杏桃口味的啦。老實說，「哈曼的耳朵」除了長相比較特別之外，口感和味道都很普通，真的在普珥節這一、兩天出現就夠了。
