的的喀喀湖 位於秘魯和玻利維亞的交界處，海拔3800公尺，是世界上具有航運功能最高的湖，也是南美洲最大的淡水湖，面積大約是日月潭的1000倍大。
我和媽媽來到的的喀喀湖旁的小城普諾（Puno），參加了二天一夜的tour，去到湖中秘魯側的幾個島。島民的生活非常特別，他們的長相、穿著都和玻利維亞人比較接近，主要語言為奇楚亞語（Quechua）。
我們最先來到的是浮島。
經過一段時間的航行，我們的船轉進一條水道，乍看之下兩旁是蓋滿小房子的陸地，其實那些是的的喀喀湖中最有特色的島，是蘆葦做的、漂在湖面上的島。

上島後，這裡的居民都出來迎接我們，他們已經用蘆葦椅排好坐的地方，還拿出毯子讓我們蓋在腿上，因為天氣太冷了，還下著小雨。
一位島上的居民為我們講解關於浮島的一切，像是浮島的製作、浮島的生活模式等等，好多新鮮有趣的事，這些全是我以前從沒聽過的。他也讓我們嚐了蘆葦，吃起來像是很鬆的小黃瓜，沒什麼味道。浮島居民以使用奇楚瓦語（Quechua）溝通為主，導遊為我們翻譯成西班牙文和英文。

－ 奇特的烏魯族人
幾百年前，玻利維亞的一群原住民——烏魯族（Uro）為了躲避印加人的逼迫，逃到的的喀喀湖中，住在自己建造的浮島上，一直與外界隔絕，直到近代，才降服於祕魯政府，不過由於文化差異太大，所以基本上保持著自治區的方式，浮島居民共有約二千人。
的的喀喀湖淺水區大量生長的蘆葦是烏魯族人生活的必需品，他們用蘆葦建島和房子，使用蘆葦船當交通工具，吃蘆葦的莖，在蘆葦叢裡找水鳥。
烏魯族人維生的方式是捕魚和撿蛋（水鳥的蛋），現在則是主要以觀光業賺錢，他們接待觀光客上島參觀，順便賣自己做的手工藝紀念品。
－ 很有制度的浮島
浮島看似漂在洋洋湖面上，其實它們的位置是固定的，而且像是經過都市計畫一樣，排列整齊，橫向有大水道，豎向有小水道讓自家小船方便進出。一個社區有十幾個島，一個島上住有二到三個家庭，鄰居可以互相照應。
除了一般家庭住的浮島之外，也有很大的島，上面有商店、學校等等。大浮島是大家交流的地方，平時，社區居民聚集開會，節慶的時候，一起慶祝、開派對。
有趣的是，烏魯族人很有共享的概念。要上島參觀的旅行團必須和浮島的領袖聯絡，由他來告知哪船遊客去哪個島，每個社區、每個島用輪流的，大家賺錢的機會是平等的。由於觀光客帶來太多的錢財收入，他們不能讓某些比較有生意頭腦的人一把搶盡，所以有了這樣的做法。
－ 浮島的製造
烏魯族人使用世代相傳的方法來造浮島，他們把被蘆葦根抓得緊實的土切成塊，用船搬運到需要的地方，一塊塊的綁在一起，然後把乾黃了的蘆葦像疊疊樂的積木一樣橫豎交錯的鋪在上面，現代的居民會用錨把島固定在同一個地方。
一座島差不多是四、五十坪的大小，需要花上一年的時間來建造，通常可以使用二十年之久。浮島會隨著時間一點點下沉，居民們需要鋪上更多的蘆葦，好保持高度，所以地上踩起來很軟，像是非常厚的地毯，走路一不小心可能會扭到腳。
浮島上的房子也都是蘆葦蓋的，乾了的蘆葦用繩子綑成一束一束的，蓋出一棟簡單的小屋，四面牆壁和一個屋頂，沒有隔間。

－ 浮島居民的生活
島上居民一家人同住在一個屋簷下，小孩子一直住在父母家，結婚後才會搬到自己的房子。看起來每個家庭都生三個小孩以上，全家好幾口人就住在一間三、四坪大小的房子裡，我真的無法想像這樣的生活。
除了每個家庭住的房子外，島上另有一個小屋當廚房，幾個家庭每天輪流煮飯，廁所的話，就是直接到湖裡囉，喝湖水，洗湖水，再排泄回湖水，浮島居民的生活就是和湖環環相扣，一點也不覺得奇怪。
島民邀請我們進到家裡參觀，裡面很簡陋，傢俱就只有一張大床，床是蘆葦紮成的，上面鋪幾條毯子，坐起來好硬，有點像睡在榻榻米上的感覺。島上有發電機供電，所以房子裡有電燈，甚至還有台小電視，是我很小的時候家裡有的那種映像管電視。
我們在房子裡剛坐下，媽媽和女兒就秀出一堆他們做的手工藝品，特色刺繡的布、蘆葦編的各種紀念品、穿著當地服飾的小人偶。我和媽媽還有其他幾個人擠在小小的房間裡，一直被他們強硬推銷，好像不買一個就出不了門一樣，而且價錢還講不低，還好我和媽媽一起來，她有錢也願意買，最後選了一個小的蘆葦船紀念品，我們才成功脫離，他們有點太強迫，搞得我連想拍幾張照都怕會被收錢。

浮島居民的“現代化”生活
烏魯族人雖然幾乎與外界隔絕，但是仍然有在漸漸的現代化。
現在每家都有一艘馬達小船，除了用來捕魚外，也是島與島之間的唯一交通工具。他們其實還是有蘆葦船，只不過是那種很大的蘆葦船，漆上鮮豔的顏色、放一點裝飾，看起來挺華麗的，那是用來讓觀光客體驗的，也就是讓他們多賺點錢的。
浮島居民現在也幾乎人人都有手機，不過是我們15年前用的那種手機，只能用來打電話和發簡訊。年輕人的戀愛、交往方式，也從以前的偷偷開蘆葦船出去，變成了待在家傳簡訊聊天。

的的喀喀湖裡這群住在浮島上的人實在太特別了，讓我大開眼界，也學到好多新知識，可惜居民們不太會講西班牙文，沒有辦法和他們溝通。
身為一個遊歷各地的背包客，我對於居住環境的忍受力很高，不過，我想自己是不會享受浮島生活的，如果能住一個晚上體驗一下倒是不錯。
