Shavuot 是我最愛的猶太節日，通常在五月中到六月中之間。因為是逾越節後的第五十天，也就是七個星期之後，所以中文翻作「七七節」，這一天也是基督教的「五旬節」。
一般的以色列人不太過七七節，沒有什麼特別的活動或慶祝。只有在kibbutz，才能看到盛大的慶典。
確切來說，kibbutz過的是收割節，也只有kibbutz才過收割節。
Shavuot 也是 收割節
Shavuot有兩個意義，為了紀念上帝對以色列人頒布十誡，另外，因為正值收割小麥的時候，所以會歡慶收成，七七節因此也被叫做「收割節」。
由於kibbutz傳統上以農業為主，收割節對他們來說很有意義，不僅慶祝一年收成的開始，也期望接下來能有大豐收。這根本就是一個為kibbutz量身定做的節日。

Shavuot 的晚餐
因著以色列最大的乳製品公司的推動，商業化了七七節，現在，已經完全變成了「起司的節日」。在這一天，大家都要吃很多的乳製品，牛奶、優格、起司、冰淇淋⋯⋯
我喜歡Shavuot的晚餐，這應該是最特別的節日晚餐了。
因為kibbutz的七七節晚餐特別好，很多住在外面的家人都會來kibbutz過節。也因此餐廳裡非常熱鬧，所有的桌子都坐滿了。
晚餐和平常一樣，是自助餐式的。菜色非常豐富，沒有大魚大肉，也沒有傳統的猶太菜餚，而是有各種各樣的起司，和起司做的料理，還有很多水果，全都是我喜歡的食物，恨不得可以吃下十盤。

Shavuot 的慶祝
一頓豐盛的晚餐已經夠讓人滿足了，但節日的重點其實是在隔天下午。七七節的慶祝在室外舉辦，除了真正的慶典之外，還有一些不同的活動，有點像一個園遊會。
－ 吃吃喝喝
在蘋果工廠前的空地，擺了許多好吃的食物，烤披薩、爆米花、棉花糖等等，甚至還有我們的鄰居kibbutz Sasa有名的冰淇淋。
難得有這些垃圾食物可以吃，我們都很高興，根本就太享受了。

－ 果園部門的展示
雖然這個kibbutz現在是以製造醫療材料致富，不過果園的事業還是最大的。基本上以出產蘋果為主，也種了很多不同的水果，像是桃子、李子、奇異果、西瓜等等。
七七節完全就是個讓果園部門表現的機會。
有幾個棚子是展示果園的工作，有農用的器械、工具，還有一些照片，看他們怎麼修剪、綁枝子、採收。最重要的大概是那一籃一籃今年已經收成的水果，也是令果園部門驕傲的成果。

旁邊還有精心擺設的拖拉機、乾草堆，並一些草帽、耙子等道具，讓大家可以照相留念。

－ 製作花冠
除了穿白色的衣服之外，頭戴花冠也是標準的節日打扮之一。而這裡就有做花冠的活動，有漂亮的花和其他材料，可以自己動手。
我去的時候有點晚，好看的花幾乎都被用完了，只剩下一堆滿天星和裝飾的葉子。經過一番努力，我才把雜亂的花草束得整齊且飽滿，雖然完成的花冠有點平淡，但是製作的過程很有趣。

－ 節日慶典
七七節真正的慶典在蘋果工廠旁舉行，這個簡陋的小足球場放了好幾堆稻草當舞台的背景，另一側的草地是大家坐著觀看的地方。
慶典其實沒有什麼真正的儀式，主要的就是猶太民族的最愛——跳舞。小孩、青少年、大人都有各自的舞蹈，他們穿著白色的服裝，配上歡樂的以色列音樂，動作簡單，卻很有味道。
另外，也有一些其他的節目，像是小朋友朗讀自己寫的詩詞，也有果園部門的人和大家分享這一年來的農作情況。
